Well, from a professional stand point since I am a hairstylist and makeup artist. If you can not afford to get your makeover done, since some of them want you to buy anywhere from 35 to 50 dollars in product on their line, I would definitely recommend spending a day trying new techniques. Or better yet if you have a friend that you know is going to buy makeup, have her get the makeover and you watch so you can try the secrets at home. Ask them questions, and most of them will give you an answer. Unless your skin color has changed any, you really don't need to worry about your foundation (base) but try bronzer instead of blush or put the bronzer lightly on top of your blush to get a sun kissed look. For your eyes, try smokey eyes. Always remember to if you play up your eyes, don't wear bright lipstick, just maybe some simple lip gloss and visa versa, if you wear bright lipstick, maybe only do a neutral eyecolor, mascara, and eyeliner. Just play and see what you come up with. Best wishes
I agree, go get a makeover! Alot of stores offer them & you can get some professional tips. I love playing with makeup, but it's hard without seeing someone to know what is right for them. Maybe, you should just lock yourself in your bathroom with your makeup for a day & play!
I have lost a good deal of weight in my face, and my usual makeup (the colors and the way I do it) now look ..... "wrong". My jawline and chin as well as my cheekbones are now much more defined and my eyes look larger. I luckily do not have sagging skin anywhere or any noticable lines.
Does anyone know of a site or article that gives tips on how to enhance your "new" face? I have looked, but have come up empty. Help?????
