It's actually a decent little play on the Zombie mythos
If I had to actually answer from my own thoughts... I would say that Zombies don't poop like we do, but at some point their stomachs would burst causing all of the flesh they had consumed to leak/fall/slide out.

This is a question I have been asking for years. Digestion requires active muscle contractions and digestive enzymes to move food through the system and out. We see them eating large volumes of people but they should only be able to put in until their stomach has stretched to the maximum and then they would have a GI obstruction. The best answer I have heard on this issue is that they might actually rupture their stomach and then everything can just fall out into the abdomen, and as their tissue rots and holes form in the abdomen, they can drop it back out on the ground in the same condition that it went in. So there wouldnt be zombie patties around but instead just chewed up body parts.

Yeah, you're right. That's true. Whatever they do have in their systems probably just gets expelled somewhere else.
I think though, besides the fact that they're dead and rotting away, if zombies are so gaunt in movies and shows, they probably don't eat that much, really. They just bite or chew, and very little goes into their stomachs.

Interesting question. I don't think that they necessarily poop like we do. But if you think about it, they have no voluntary functions, so its possible that it "technically" gets expelled without effort. hmmmmmm Its one of those things we may never know.
Oh I agree, no poop. But, it can't just sit there. there's the zombie that ate lori, or the one they ripped apart to find Sophia. But aside from that you don't see many zombies with much girth. If it just sat wouldn't they all have giant bellies?
Ewwww-my mind is going so many places-basically,I'm with yagermonster on this-dead don't go.Wouldn't it be clinging to their clothes?(I know, they already stink from rotting)-hey,if they aren't offed-do they just slowly rot away?-like I said-too many strange thoughts...
