This looks like it has potential. George Romero has announced he is writing an adaptation of the book "The Zombie Autopsies: Secret Notebooks from the Apocalypse" by Steven C. Schlozman. The story is about some doctors who find shocking revelations when they perform autopsies on zombies following a zombie apocalypse. Dr. Stanley Blum is already infected (as is two-thirds of humankind) with ataxic neurodegenerative satiety deficiency syndrome (ANSD)—the virus that turns people into zombies, when he heads to a research facility overseen by the U.N., to vivisect captive zombies in the hope of isolating the pathogen before he succumbs to it. I may have to put this book on my Christmas list.
