Oh my gosh! I love this group! I think the main way that I love saving is to stay away from the temptations. I don't go out for meals or even that little coffee because I think everything adds up! Those online deals/coupons are a pretty good idea, but I find that most purchases I make are for things that I wouldn't normally purchase/ don't need. So although you can save lots of money, be sure it was all ready on something you were looking to spend money on.
I could use help to ! Money is getting tighter everyday !
The Lord is my strength and i know i can do better with the Lords help. The Lord laid it on my heart to start a team called GOD ANSWERS PRAYER AND I WOULD LOVE TO HAVE ANYBODY THAT WANTS HELP TO LOSE THEIR WEIGHT TO JOIN . I KNOW I CAN'T DO THIS WITHOUT THE LORDS HELP !
i mainly shop at HEB, and walmart when walmart is cheaper on items.
i live in san antonio texas. no one doubles or tripples!
at HEB they have great deals all the time so that could be why they dont double or tripple coupons. the have meal deals and combo locos. example buy this item get these 3 to 7 items free. sometimes the deals are the best sometimes you just need to pass lol. this store also always has alot of in-store coupons. sometimes those coupons are way better than manufacturer coupons, rarely they arent better. HEB always has great produce! and great meat! they lowered their crystal light price to 2.18 (same price as walmart now) it was 2.32.

Quick tip! Lean Cuisine has been on sale for the past few weeks. Only $1.50! I know healthier food is always a better option than processed but if you're on the go and want a good portioned lunch grab some and stock up!
I wrote to LC and commented on one of the products and they sent me three free entres and two $1.00 coupons!

I usually shop at Stater Bro's. They had a deal-Buye any 10 of the following items save $7.50. A lot of them were .75 so if you bought 10 of those items they would all be free! You can use the paperless coupon two times so you can get really good deals.
Last week I went to Stop and shop and got 4 boxes of cereal for .29 cents. The cereal was marked for 3.00 each so I got 3 at that price and the fourth box was 3.29. I had 4 .75 coupons doubled to 1.50 off each box. When I got to the register they took 6.00 off the total because I had purchased 4 boxes. I paid .29 cents at the register. I also got a coupon for a free gallon of milk for my next purchase of milk because I bought 4 boxes. What a deal!
That's great! I went to Rite Aid the other day and stocked up on deodorant for myself and my husband plus some Maalox and apple juice and I spent 41 cents plus walked out with $6 in Up rewards to spend! Woot!
BTW To answer your question~ I play the grocery game. It has a free trial and a nominal cost. I prefer it over the free sites because of it's organization and the fact that they do the work for me! I've been doing it for 3 years and went from spending $180-200 a week on groceries and still wondering what to make for dinner lol, and now I spend from $50-70 a week. And that's for a family of four. HTH!

Yesterday I went and did all of my errands in one day. I went to Staples first. My husband and I needed computer paper and we had a 13.00 rewards coupon from the Staples Rewards program. We got 2 packages of paper and we didn't pay anything for it. The coupon covered the whole bill and we had a couple of dollars left from it to spend on our next purchase. We also had a rebate form for the paper for 3.99 each (limit 2 per household). The second stop was CVS and I picked up a prescription, some toothpaste and toothbrushes and shampoo/conditioner. We needed all of these items and they were on sale. The total came to 26.52. I had a bunch of manufactures coupons and a CVS 4.00 off your 20.00 purchase. After coupons it came to 18.52. I also got 11.58 back in reward bucks. So, for my second transaction I got disinfectant wipes (2), some post it tabs and notes. After coupons I paid 4.78 (including tax) for all those items.
Final stop the grocery store. My cost before coupons and sales here was 51.26. Cost at the register after coupons, sales, and employee discount was 30.46. I am so proud of myself!
I shopped at Stop and Shop this past week. Because I work there I get a 5% discount off my entire order. I was armed with lots of coupons and between the sales, coupons, and discount I saved 37.10 this week. I also earned 4.75 off my next order because I purchased 4 pkgs of fruit snacks and 4 dole products. I plan on using those catalinas later this week to buy some milk. I am so excited!!
