I have lost 5 pounds since January... tried to fix my weight ticker to reflect the changes but it didn't work.... will have t try it again, so hopefully it won't say that I lost 5 pounds in a week when I go to change it!

Hit 51 modified push-ups in 1 minute this past Saturday. Now I can move onto working on regular push-ups.

I ate 100% vegetarian today! I've planned a mealplan for an entire week of 100% vegetarian.
I know I can do it. New to vegetarian ways. Flexitarian right now, but successfully reducing the meat.

Today I ran over to a friend's house when she called crying over a stressful situation with her mom. We talked it out, I was able to provide some insights (as an outsider) and we even had a few laughs.

Awesome Jody - Good for you !

I also ran 5k this morning - my first time ever ! 43 minutes including walking the first 5 to warm up. I was able to run until the start of mile 3 - TootToot !

My 2011 Fitness Minutes were 24,444 - that is an average of 67 minutes a day for 365 days!

NYE TOOT!!

I ran 5k on the treadmill this morning in 37:40. I felt so good the first half of it, I just kept going and going without walk breaks. I only walked a couple minutes at 1 mile and 2 miles. That's pretty amazing for me!

I went to the dentist today and did not freak out ! He didn't do a procedure ... that's coming on Friday, but I usually cry as soon as I sit in the chair. So Toot for me for a no tears dentist visit.

Oh - one more I have to add - my hubby made cookies to take to work, dozens and dozens, it was a cookie EXPLOSION. Anyway, I was sorely tempted, so I had 1/2 of a "cherry tea cake" (Betty Crocker recipe). One cookie is only 60 calories, so half?!?! NO PROBLEM!

That really IS awesome!!! Being a good friend is a special gift. Your friend was lucky you were there for her!
