Why is Alec still on this show????? Every week he's in the bottom. Every week he struts his little diva self all over the place and annoys me, yet he's still there. Unbelievable.
And as much as I applaud and support Cameron for standing up for his beliefs, refusing to compromise, and deciding that maybe acting isn't his thing if it's going to require him to do things that are contrary to his core values....I will so miss him. He was my hands-on choice to win. I could just see the character that Ryan Murphy would have created for him.
Of the remaining contestants, my two faves are Samuel (dreds) and Cameron (quirky, Christian). Since Rachel, Finn and Kurt are graduating next season, seems like they'd have room for more than one of these. I like Hannah, but they are already have two overweight girls on the show. The one girl that surprise-kissed Cameron last night at the end of their song can belt them out like Rachel does.
Samuel could replace the homeless guy with the lips that had started to date Amber.
But hands down Cameron would be unique. I know Ryan Murphy wants a Christian to join the Glee Club (and I'm all for that!), and Cameron would be a natural. He's already sort of a likeable misfit--could even pick up the slack when Kurt's gone.
I like this show. But then again, I tend to like all the music shows!
Has anyone here ever seen this show? I stumbled upon it last weekend (Sunday night on Oxygen), and I found myself enjoying it. There is a lot of the show that is just relationship drama and some dance routines that aren't particularly memorable. But at the end, they take the bottom 3 and ask them to sing solos for the judges. And hey...there were some pretty mad vocals there! Until X Factor comes on, I might have to visit The Glee Project once in awhile to get my 'singing show fix'.
When you feel like quitting....think about why you started.
