I would love to find a work-out buddy in the Shively area. I live on Tennessee Ave. Only available transportation at moment is the TARC but my funds are limited. Any ideas?

I'm lookling for someone who lives in the Valley station PRP area that can workout at the YMCA in the am's.. I go to work at 2pm and work about 30 min away.. Or I can workout at the YMCA on 6mile ln.. :)

I belong to Planet Fitness on the Outer Loop and I work out Monday, Wednesday and Friday nights around 6:30 or 7:00 PM.

If busy on Friday I do Sat mornings too..

Looking for a beginner walker to enjoy a walk through Brown Park or the park right next to Crosby Middle School. I can do most times during the days, except for when I have appts or picking up my daughter. I can also do early evenings except on Wednesdays and last Monday of the month. Any takers?

Hey! I so need to check this more often! lol

I have been out of the loop for a while and i have been unmotivated and now i want to get that motivation back and lose some weight. I would love a work out buddy... for walking or anything. This is so hard to do alone.

Well I'm still gaining hours at one of my jobs, but for now I usually try to walk Tuesdays and Thursdays durning the day. Usually early afternoon. I work evenings almost every night so I am not avalible then.

I am looking as well!
I have a strange schedule but as of now I have Mon, Wed, and Friday open, and Tuesdays. I live in the Highlands and have a YMCA membership. I typically walk in Carson Park (I think that's the name! It's across from the Zoo) and up the Bellermine steps. With all the hills and steps it makes for a great workout. :)

Yes, I should be going. It's the only day I can make Yoga Nidra, which Tami does after the Yoga class. Yoga starts at 10am and Yoga Nidra at 11:45. I'll have to rush off to shower and get ready for work right after class, but I would love to meet you there. It will at least keep me honest on Sundays about going. lol

Total weight loss goal is 70 lbs. I am breaking the large goal into smaller goals. I have reached my first goal of 27 lbs, and starting my 2nd 27 lbs goal!

Hey Stacy, I have been meaning to get to the Sunday yoga classes you're talking about. I'm assuming Tami still teaches them, and I always loved her classes (been about a year or better since I've been, though....).

Let me know if you're thinking about going next week, and if so, perhaps we can meet up! Knowing I'm going there to meet someone helps in preventing me from talking myself out of it.

I belong to Milestone. I would love a workout partner or at least someone to keep me honest about going, but I have a really odd work schedule. I'm off on Tuesday and Wednesday, but I am trying to keep to the same workout schedule everyday. Right now I am getting there about 10 and working out for an hour (longer on my days off). I am trying to get there at 9am, so I can have two hours.

I am trying to get to the 10am yoga classes on M-W-F, and I would love to go to the dance workout class at 9am on those days. T-Th-Sat are my strength training days, so I usually only get that in and then a bit of cardio after.

If you are interested, I would love the company.

Tomorrow (Sunday) I am shooting to make it to Yoga (10am) and then Yoga Nidra class (11:45 am).
