I pull all these events (mostly) out of the Forsyth Woman and Forsyth Family Magazines. If anyone has an event they would like to share PLEASE post it here. I’d love to see and hear about what else is going on in the area - sometimes you need something new to shake up the routine.

12 noon - 2:00 p.m.: Kid’s Morning/Afternoon Out sponsored by Forsyth Family Magazine

Grab a friend and the kids (all ages) for a day of fun at Peter S. Brunstetter Aquatic Center at Tanglewood Park in Clemmons.  Newly renovated aquatic center with two new slides, winding tubing river, splash pad playground and lots of extended deck space.  Discounted rate of $4 per swimmer (regularly $5 for kids 3-5 and $6 all others) from 10am-noon only when you mention Forsyth Family Kids’ Morning Out. Children 2 and under are free. The first 25 cars to show their Forsyth Family Magazine will get free gate admission into the park. FREE sunglasses while supplies last. Bring your kids for a fun-filled activity that improves their body awareness, self-esteem, and flexibility. These Classes offer a physical activity that is non-competitive, teach how to release energy in healthy ways, and offer quiet time. A yoga hike combines 60 minutes of gentle hiking with 30 minutes of yoga poses done in the great outdoors. Meet and make new friends while walking the trails and stretching under the trees. Our yoga hikes take advantage of a number of local venues that showcase some of the area's best walking trails.

Students of all levels are encouraged to attend. Hikes are approximately 1 1/2 hours. You may join us for one hike or all hikes. Registration deadline is 2 days prior to hike. Unless hike is cancelled due to weather, students may not change registered hiking date(s).

Details about the location of each hike will be provided upon registration.

Cost = $15/hike
