I am new to this forum. I have fought the weight battle all my life and I want to finally win it! I have been a WW member several times...and was doing great until they changed to the PointsPlus program. all progress stopped and I even began to gain! The "science" they espoused did not make any sense.
Anyway, I want to go back to the Momentum format of WW but cannot find my old calculator. Any suggestions?

Andrea, I work for WW and am currently doing the Simply filling technique (new name for the old Core plan). I like it. If I were you, I would use your old material. It works well and you will do great on it. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

I believe some of the other ladies (Lori?) use that site. I really like myfitnesspal, and found it similar to WW it was easy. I lost 30 lbs on momentum. Weight loss stopped immediately after nov 29 2010 which is when WW rolled out PP. I didn't take me long to figure out it was a broken program and not for me. I have lost 35 more since then. I have been plateaued for about a year. 15-20 to go. I know it will happen.

My gentle advise Andrea is DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON PP!!!!!. If you have your old materials and momentum or whichever system worked for you, go for it. Lori has a topic of all the links to help find any old plans that may help. You will get a lot of support here. join in on the main discussion board. I have gone completely away from WW, tracking calories on myfitnesspal.com. I also sometimes double track here. I love SP for the support here and the wealth of valuable information that can help you make this a lifestyle change not a diet.

Hello, I am a newbie to this group and have been with weight watchers who works and I have previously lost weight on. Well I am starting back and want to do the old plan, but wanted to know if it would be wise to stick with the old points in my old book, or purchase a new book on the Point Plus plan? Please help? Noticing that the points for food have changed and not sure of what to do?
