Managed to get on here and get it done this afternoon. The Silver Sneakers that I did earlier was range of motion and everything except for the warm up was seated. This one is a lot more cardio.

I can't complete the 11 minutes ... and I am definitely not coordinated. It's that old left hand that doesn't work well - and the left foot..... Good exercise!

Did my 11 minutes. Still "challenged" by the boxing routine - can't do the hand movements with the shuffle.

Phew! Just did the chair workout! That's hard work! I just did 4 miles with Leslie and I'm sure I worked up more of a sweat with the chair workout than with walking! Good exercise, only problem is my Fitbit won't recognise it!! Shame, all those virtual steps, but I must have used some calories; it's a great workout and good to know what can be done from a seated position.
Good fun!

Sorry, I posted this on the Walk Chat and then found the new Challenge thread. So here I am! I didn't find how to save it to Favourites, but I bookmarked it for next time!

This is worth mentioning, and as I say, I may not have noticed it before, and this is old news. But if you do NOT want your exercises being tracked on Facebook, you can uncheck the box so that will not happen.

Hit the START button and chose Email/Account Preferences. Choose the Community Tab. Scroll down to almost the bottom, is says FACEBOOK. My box was checked, and I am thinking it might be by default.

I noticed it on Ralph's page first, don't ever remember reading all his fitness minutes before, and when I was testing out the 11 Minute Chair Exercise, I noticed a box allow me to UNCHECK sending to Facebook, and how change the default so it will NOT go automatically to Facebook.

now, if you want it to go to FB, don't uncheck it, lol.

I think it is new, anybody noticed it before???

OK, my turn. We decided not to do the second 10k, the weather not being in our favor.

IS IT JUST ME or does this site automatically post our workouts to Facebook now. I see a little box to uncheck, but also I see you can go into the settings here on Spark and not allow posting to Facebook in the first place.

Did it - phew! emoticon

Certainly more warming than I expected.

I don;t have a solid chair without wheels so I used my computer stool which is designed to help with low back problems and sits on a curved circular plate that wiggles about as you move. Maybe I'll try doing this in the main office reception where we have some guest chairs the right height. When its closed of course!

Good morning! Just finished the 11 min. workout. I really do like it. I'll keep doing it and coming on here to see who else is following this regimen. I still can't record it using the middle button, but yesterday I did add it to "Favorites" and can track it that way. I use Firefox and I probably need to adjust the Popup setting. also.
Hope everyone is enjoying this challenge.

I am off to walk 20k today, so will give this a try when I get back, too many clothes on right now, but did have to laugh at Sue. I did the same thing yesterday when I was testing out how things worked. I clicked once and noticed my Firefox "prevented a pop up" so clicked again and VOILA, two to the tracker, I had to delete both, tee hee.

Comment on how to get your points for doing the video. I had no trouble just clicking the Track button in the middle, and it went to both my tracker and my points page. I had a little birdie suggest to me that if you are using the old tracker, you might have to do the "Favorites" thing - save this exercise to your favorites, and you will have it for the next time.

I did this today, not as easy as it sounded and I too must learn my right from my left..lol
Easy for me to track though, it says under it 3 boxes one to get 3 points and one for something which I don't remember!!!! and the middle one is track your workout and I clicked on that and I thought nothing happened so clicked it again, nothing...BUT when I went to my fitness tracker it was in there twice, so I removed one, 116 cals burned each time

I also added it to the SS and put in 11 mins on the Wii as we sold the Wii and so am using that to check when I do this exercise.
Hubby sold the Wii and got an X Box Kinnect so we can do the exercises at home but I don't like it much, maybe it will grow on me
