Lets get more post like your. I try to WALK each at least 1/2 of the time I'm out I leave my apartment & I'll walk mimum 60% of my distance & then take the city bus the rest of the time. I have to be careful when I'm out because my LEFT HIP has a tenancy to give out because of ARTHIS which was cause by SPINAL MENIGIST early in life.

Put a stationery bike at your computer and you can ride while your facebook. End of guilt.
Eat a quick lunch and walk or take your lunch with you and eat while you walk.
Don't look for excuses, look for solutions.

i walk at lunch for 20-25 minutes. plus on the weekends doing things around the house or my part time job is very physical

My dog makes me work out...lol

We got him as a 5-year-old rescue. I'm pretty sure I know why he needed rescuing...he has some very bad bathrooming habits.

Even though he's been 'fixed' (probably after he formed the habit) he likes to mark his territory...in the house! And when stressed out, he will take a dump in the middle of the living room floor OR on my husband's side of the bed. This, of course, does nothing to further their male bonding.

It seems if I take him for a daily walk, he cuts back severely on these behaviors. Well, while I'm on my feet, I might as well shoe-horn my 22-year-old daughter into Wii dancing, or I'll go ride the stationary bike.

How far are you from where you work? the reason for that question is you came leave home early & walk or by a monthly parking spot that's NO more than a 30min walk & you'll get at least 1 hour of WALKING & that could be part of your WORKOUT

I make myself work out BEFORE anything else when I get home from work. If I sit down, it's all over. So when I get home, I change and do a workout FIRST, then pick up, make dinner, etc. I also try to squeeze in a quick pilates workout in the morning before I leave for work. I work 8-5, so I leave the house at 7 am and get home at 5:30.

Ok so I am up by 5am every morning, at work by six there till anywhere from noon to 3pm. Yeah yeah normal hours I know. Any way I get home, get the house picked up, get dinner going, take my shower, catch up with facebook, (yeah my guilty pleasure lol) by then it is 9 pm and time for sleep.

How do you find the time to work out even a little without giving up your guilty pleasure?
