Since starting up again and staying strong I've doubled my time on the elliptical from barely 5 minutes to going to 10 minutes with energy to keep going.

I can...
...paint my own toes without the aid of simple machinery.
...sneak up on people.
...sit comfortably in my chair at work (that means "Indian Style" or "Cross-Cross Applesauce" because I'm profressional like that).
...wear my sister's clothes.
...wear my FMPs and be comfortable.
...wear a hip scarf/coin belt in my belly dance class because they fit now!
So... yay!
And BOPPY_, I too freeze to death. I walk around my house in multiple layers of everything, long sleeved shirts under sweaters under sweatshirts, leggings under jeans, cotton socks under fuzzy socks, etc and still complain that I'm cold. Everyone looks at me like I'm nuts (which I probably am).

It's been unusually cold, here, at night. We also turn the heat down at night; and I always have the vents closed in the master bedroom.

Since, I've lost all this weight (a) I'm cold for the first time at night, and (b) I have all these sweat workout clothes that don't fit me well enough to even exercise in them anymore.

Solution? Wear the oversized exercise sweats to bed.

Strange; but true. emoticon

I can wear things in my closet that I haven't been able to wear in years (and some of them are already too big)!

*I can run up a flight of steps without running out of breath
*I can fit into things in my closet I never thought I would fit into again, and some are too big already! (Yes, I do alter my own clothes when needed).

I can walk 4 miles a day every morning and work while doing my job. I don't get tired from it the rest of the day, i don't get sore knees or ankles. i am then generally able to be active when i get home.

Don't forget to be awesome.

1. I can see my feet and other parts of my body I missed..
2. I don't need to ask the hospital to put my back in when I get my bra on..
3. I don't knock myself out when I have to run for my bus with wild jumping boobs..
4. People will sit next to me without fearing I will smuther them with my ass..
5. I don't have to go to the army supplus shop and ask for tents for undies..
6. I don't squash chairs anymore..
7. Wreck my sons day turning up to parent-teacher days..
8. Get asked if I need 2 serving instead of one..
9. Don't snore like a fergussion massey tractor anymore..
10.No longer look like a nutter going to rip of other parents heads when my kid is teased by their darlings...

Amazing the mindsets and things that can happen when you loss weight..

What do you do now that you couldn't, or wouldn't, dream of doing before losing weight on SparkPeople?

For me, it's:
1) understanding and eating appropriate-sized portions,
2) wearing smaller clothes,
3) doing any kind of exercise for 30 minutes straight, whether riding the stationary bike or doing low-impact aerobics,
4) swimming in 'freezing cold' (68 degrees) water because I know that its a great cool down when doing strength training exercises (sore muscles only once in seven months). Okay, it wasn't always freezing, but I have gone into the water when it was that low on several occassions.

I wouldn't have dreamed of doing those things when I was 25 pounds heavier and can only imagine what I'll be doing when I lose all 97 pounds that is my ultimate goal.

So....what can you do now that you couldn't do before?
