Just saw this discussion and thought I'd add in my bit here. I ran the Princess half in 2010, and it was my very first half marathon. Obviously I had a good time since I'm coming back for more in 2012

I just read your blog, and I am even MORE excited than I was already!!!! I can't wait for registration to open soon!!! Thank you SO much for a great race report! I'm definitely going to be there in 2012!

I was very blessed to have the opportunity to run Princess 2011 and it was INCREDIBLE!!! Here is my Princess race report blog if you want an idea how it all works.

Remember one thing. Perhaps the most special part of running Princess is forming Spark friendships beforehand. That just adds so much to the weekend and is what makes the memories so priceless. The finisher's medal so so gorgeous and you will not want to take it off!

I will be returning to run Princess 2012 with our daughter in law and if you ever have any questions please do not hesitate to ask!! Its all very fresh in my mind.
