I've tried Nutrisystem, EDiets and Bistro MD. Nutrisystem was pretty gross. It does work if you can stick to it, but the food is really highly processed and while some of it is ok, none of it is particularly good tho ymmv.
It's been awhile since I did E-Diets, so the program may have changed. The food was ok, but I wasn't crazy about it and I wasn't happy that he breakfasts and snacks were sometimes things like a boiled egg, a nutri-grain bar, or some kind of meal bar. For the price I was paying I wanted stuff I couldn't easily make myself or buy at the grocery.
Bistro MD was the best of the ones I tried. The food was pretty tasty and it was real food. There were more veggies than the other plans, which was good from a nutrition stand point, but as a veggie hater a challenge for me. I lost about 30 pounds in the three months I was on it. Draw back was the cost. With shipping it was about $160 a week. The snacks were a disappointment. A lot of soy chips, protein drinks and that kind of thing, but the actual meals were really good.
