Oh dear! Is your bf a fan of Paula Deen? I guess he was trying to be helpful. I don't know if there is a calorie entry for that, so you should just have a good laugh and start fresh tomorrow.
If I were you, I'd prepare my own meals until he gets the picture. You have an opportunity to show him that healthy foods are tasty. (If he doesn't like your healthy meals, then he can prepare his own.) I've found communicating clear guidelines very helpful. Since I gave up flesh and fish last year, my husband knows not to buy them for me; he will bring home some tasty fake meat offerings for me to try. We'll share sides (veggie and carbs), but he will eat meat and I will choose a meat-free protein (beans, veggie burger) to complete my meal.
I usually eat fresh or frozen veggies, but I try to add something interesting for flavor instead of salt (which makes me blow up like a water balloon.) I throw some craisins (dried cranberries) in with the green beans before I steam them. Hubby loves it and requests it often. Another thing I do, which is a tasty alternative to drowning veggies in cheese, is drizzle frozen broccoli with some olive oli and sprinkle powdered garlic on it, then steam it, either in the microwave or on the stovetop. Hubby really likes that, too, but I usually end up eating all the broccoli before we can have it for dinner. :(
