I'm with LYDAALEXANDER on the must eat breakfast thing. I can delay breakfast for an hour or two past my norm, but I must eat something in the morning! If I don't I just go crazy with food the rest of the day.

I never knew you could make your own whipping cream, that's very interesting! I will have to look into that.

Hey, different things work for different people. I do something that's "conventionally" problematic: I like fatty things. Specifically, I've been eating a ton of homemade whipped cream. Since I make it at home, it's lower sugar, but still real whipping cream. I love it, I feel satisfied, and I maintain my low-carb and still lose!

My biggest diet hack these days is that I have to eat something - anything - for breakfast. Even pop-tarts. Or cookies. Just something.

Days I forget breakfast, I'm hungry all day. And i end up eating more than my calories. Days I eat breakfast, sooooo much better. So while I try to keep my breakfast healthy - in the end i just make sure I eat SOMETHING.

I find this kinda funny (and sad), so I thought I'd share something weird about myself. I doubt I'd ever recommend something like this to another human being... ever... Ever ever? Ever ever.

I've been eating Sonic's Cheese Fries for lunch about 3-4 times a week for the past 3 weeks or so and I've lost approximately 5-7 lbs (8-10lbs from the doctors office, but I had shoes on). Nutritionally, I think this is CRAP. Weight lose wise, I think this is awesome.

Why have I been eating cheesey fries?
Well... because I don't wanna eat a hamburger and regular fries don't stay with me all day. I wanna lower my cholesterol so I am trying the vegitarian thing again. Unfortunately, I work in a small Texas Town, where the only options you have are McDonalds,Sonic, Subway and STEAK-BEEF-STEAK-PORK-BEEF-COW-SMOOTHIE-BU
RGER!... Ahem.
I did a bit of research and found that the Lowest Caloried Fast-Food French Fries you can find are from a Sonic Drive-Thru/park-thru(?), the Large Fries are Roughly 280 Calories compared to McDonalds Large Fries at 500 Calories. The Cheese Fries are 380ish Calories.

I think I've been losing weight, because unlike eating something from subway, I don't get hungry for about 5-6 hours after eating this and sipping a lime-ade (150ish Calories) totalling at a little over 500 calories. With Subway meals, I usually inhale the sandwhich and chips and am STARVING an hour or two later EVEN THOUGH I've taken in approximately 650-850 calories. According to my BMR, I burn approximately 2,700 Calories a day before I even consider my workouts (the one good thing about being bigger and larger than all my friends).

I *HATE* that this works with something that has been fried in oil and then layered in cheese, but am happy it helps keep my cravings down. I still eat a pretty healthy and nutrious breakfast and dinner, so I'm not worried about my nutrition. Just feel kinda guilty, but interested, about my current habit.

Does anyone else have something strange like this that helps their lifestyle plan?
