This has been a rough week so far. I have developed a cold and I feel really run down. I have been forcing myself to eat, I have been meeting my requirements but it has been difficult. I have done some exercise but not my usual 60-90 min. Hopefully tomorrow I will feel better.

I have been doing really well. I am maintaining my attitude, exercising an average of 60 min. daily. Drinking plenty of water and I have been losing. I have been losing ounces each week. At least I'm heading in the right direction.

week 2
i just have 1 more high inensity workout and i may add the extra yoga/pilates that i missed last week. i have not been sticking to my menu very strictly, but that is generally my problem. i do overeat amd some nights i just dont feel like cooking.

Weight: Well, I weighed myself today and I am happy with my progress! SO, to keep up with this progress & motivation I would like to lose 2lbs/week.

Official weight this morning: 187.5 lb

Fitness Level: Ok, so I haven't been the best at this. I was really sick for a while and let's be real working out is the LAST thing I wanted to do. I am, however, starting to feel better SO hitting the gym at school will work wonders for me!

Water Intake: I have a liquid holder (for lack of a better word) that I fills up to 32 oz. If I fill this, and drink it all of course, then that will equal 8 glasses of water. Yesterday was the first day I used it and I accomplished this goal. I would like to drink possibly 3 of these per day.

I want to lose weight but I do not want to say "no" to my emotional hunger. If I do not say "no" to my emotional hunger then I will probably gain a few ounces a day. Hmmmm! Insanity is doing the same thing but expecting a different outcome.

If I say "no" to my emotional hunger, I will lose an ounce or two each day. Not much but enough to lose 5 lbs by Christmas.

My program will be the writing diet. Instead of eating for emotional reasons I will write.

I will eat:
only when hungry
with awareness
with enjoyment
small portions
high nutrition/low calorie foods
smart substitutions
I will be more active
I will enjoy each day

I will post my progress daily.

Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle.
Your worst enemy cannot harm you as much as your own unguarded thoughts.
Drop judgment and pick up love.
If you can move a grain of sand a day, eventually you will move a mountain.
Crappy choices bring crappy feelings.
Can'ts are joy limiters.

I'm going to try to join this. I keep saying that and then stuff happens and I don't end up following thru.
We could focus on staying in our calorie range and not gaining weight over the next 2 months.

I continue to track food and trying to stay on track. This week spoke with a dietician and she gave me a specific carb program to help with blood sugars. Walking daily 30-40 minutes and strength training 3-4 times a week. Tracking with my fitbit steps daily greater than 10,000

Post some fitness minutes: 0 I have not worked out at all. I have great intentions, but i have been feeling like crap lately. I try to tell myself, "it will help you feel better" Yeah so does bed. LOL No really! I WILL!

Calorie range: I have been doing well. even though I can not track on here I do track!

Goal: This weeks goal is to get walking!

Accomplishments: I have been eating healthier! Yesterday at school I skipped the "weight watchers Wednesday" meal at school which was a total of 10 points (I believe with the pasta and roll, it was chicken cacciatore) I opted for a veggie wrap on a spinach herb wrap, yellow mustard instead of may, and NO CHEESE! WOO-HOO!

Post some fitness minutes: I worked out Wednesday for 20 minutes on the elliptical. Going for walks today on my breaks.

Calorie range: Bad, bad, bad. I haven't even been tracking that much! emoticon But today is a new day

Goal:lose 1-2 lbs/week

Accomplishments: again I am at a loss here. But it is a new day!

I did post a blog! I plan on doing 1 blog a week (more if something comes up that I really want to write about)

Increase cardio, strength training, water, sleep, cutting out unhealthy snacks/food, etc. You choose what you would like to amp up this week. Post it here to let us know.

Examples:

If your only doing 30min cardio per session amp it up to 35 to 40min per session

If you do 3 days of strength training amp it up to 4 days per week.

If you drink 8 cups of water daily amp it up to 8 1/2 cups daily.

If you get 6 hours of sleep per night amp it up to 7 hours a night.

1. Logging my food.
I will make time to log my food, even if it's something that I don't want to see how bad it is. emoticon

2. Afternoon snacking.
I will plan my afternoon snack so that I don't just start rummaging. If it's a craving I will stop and get something to drink, water or tea to see if it will pass.

3. Varying my diet.
I will look at more ways to add freggies and dairy.

top 3 struggles

1. eating well I need to get better @ packing healthy snacks for work because there are times when I don't have the time to get lunch & end up eating junk food I also need to reorganize my kitchen & get rid of the junk food & start cooking healthier.

2. working out consistently. It is the busy season @ the orchard I work at & I walk usually 8-10 miles a day plus all the lifting I do but I need to keep up with @ least part of my regular workout routine

3. drinking enough water. I need to start carrying my 64 oz glass again & drinking it once a day

1) I don't have internet access at home right now, so it is hard to track.
a) I will write down everything I eat after I leave work, then plug it in when I am at work or school the next day.
2) Finding time to work out at school (it's FREE)
b) I will write in my calendar when I will exercise
3) Making lunches.
c) While dinner is cooking I will make my lunch for the next day.

small succes tonight- came home and mowed my lawn. i als o did my ditches. so after about 80 minutes u was done.

so far i was in bed before midnight 2 sways in a row. i will make this a new habit till i get sleepier earlier at night.

Exercising is not difficult for me but staying focused is. i get distracted easily and lethargic. i am working on small goals but i do have lots of bad habits.
so i want to be in a habit of packing my lunch for work earlier so i can therfore brush my teeth and get ready for bed earlier.

1. My health ( I lost a good friend this week to a sudden illness and some of it was weight
related)
2. To be able to participate in my grandchildrens lives, not just watch it
3. To be an example to my daughter and a positive influence on them ( both have weight

Happy Fall season to you all I know it's not officially here until the 22nd but I'm excited to get started!! This challenge will help you get back on track, for example I haven't been taking care of myself for some months now and I need to get back on track with no slack!!
