I tried the Biggest Loser Meal Plan Peanut Butter Chocolatey Chip Bar with my Activia Cherry Chocolate Smootie for breakfast. The BL bar was very filling, tasted good (not like a candy bar) but good. I didn't even feel hungry for several hours. Tonight we are having meatloaf, broccoli and cauliflower and Mac and cheese for dinner. I will have a small serving of the mac and cheese and a large serving of the veggies.

Supper tonight was a Spark Recipe-- Slow-Cooker Salsa Chicken. It's in the cookbook but it's also online.

If you haven't tried this, you really need to. It is FABULOUS! It's spicy, so if you've got kids who don't like spicy, leave the taco seasoning out, and use mild salsa.

omg, yummy!! Served it over rice for DH (no rice for me), plus mixed vegetables and salad. Photo with recipe shows it served wrapped in a tortilla.

I was saving carbs to have a Kind (that's the brand name) Almond and Apricot bar-- very yummy!!

breakfast: 1/2 bell pepper stuffed with eggs cooked with spinach

put just enough water in a small skillet to cover the bottom, boil and add chopped spinach, spray bottom and pour in two eggs, put out on plate to cool slightly, then put in half pepper and top with raw spinach leaves. Yum!

Yesterday I had the usual for breakfast-- cereal with raisins, yogurt, half an orange

lunch was leftover "Yummy Pork Chops". This was a Spark recipe and it's really easy. They came out sort of dry so next time I won't cook them so long. And leftover cooked vegetables, plus a hunk of fresh cabbage. I love raw cabbage.

dinner was tuna salad-- a whole 5 oz. can of tuna, 2 T Miracle Whip, a little chopped onion & celery, plus 1 tsp. pickle relish, on a Mt. Everest of Spring Mix salad. Plus celery with Laughing Cow Light cheese. I love that stuff!!!

snacks were almonds & an apple. Roasted soybeans. The other half of the orange.

I think the big thing for me is, every day I eat things I really love that also happen to be healthy choices.

Okay, I'll be the first to jump in.
Breakfast was cereal with some raisins, and yogurt

Lunch was ham & cheese on a whole wheat & flaxseed sandwich thin, and celery with Laughing Cow Light cheese (I LOVE that stuff!)

Dinner was tossed salad (no dressing), Coconut Rice (Spark Recipe), Garlic Brown Sugar Chicken (Spark Recipe) and stir fry vegetables (I ate a LOT of these)

Snack was roasted soybeans (really these are pretty plain and I don't think I'll buy any more, but they're not bad enough to just throw away. Plus they're really dry so you have to drink a glass of water to get them down.) and an apple. I still have some grapefruit to eat.
