It’s time to sign up for the MAY BUDDY SUPPORT GROUP (BSG) CHALLENGE!
The challenge will run from Thursday, May 2nd through Wednesday, May 29th (with the last week's totals due on May 30th).
Please sign up by WEDNESDAY, May 1st; however, you can join later and will placed on a team (typically the one with the least number of members). Please send Spark-Mail to Cathy (CATHYGETSFIT) if you decide to join us later in the month so we can be sure you're placed on a team.
The teams’ chat threads and challenge templates will be posted APRIL 30th.
Everyone seems to like the format we've been using lately, so we'll stick with it this month. The sections will remain the same each week (possible "bonus" points sections may be added some weeks). They will consist of the following:
PART 1 - Chat Room: 50 points Post daily to your BSG Chat Room thread - share what’s going on in your life, give and receive support, encouragement, motivation, advice and friendship, and comment on others’ posts.
PART 2 - Fitness: 1 point per minute (MAXIMUM OF 200 POINTS PER DAY) Keep track of how much physical activity you perform during the day. Whether you're doing cardio, strength training, or housework, it counts!
PART 3A - Health/Nutrition: 100 points Stay within your calorie limits every day this week.
PART 3B - Health/Nutrition: 1 POINT per OUNCE of water you drink each day.
PART 4 - Blog: 100 - 200 points to be posted in the weekly template Blog about the assigned topic.
PART 5 - BSG Interaction: 10 points each (MAXIMUM OF 100 POINTS PER DAY) Interact with fellow BSG participants (any team) by leaving a comment on their page or blog, by commenting on their activity feed (not just clicking “like”), or by giving them a goodie.
