To make any progress I need to work on my thoughts daily.

My mantra now is "I am easily losing weight in a healthy way"

List of my insane beliefs that I am working on:

1. Food comforts me. TRUTH IS that overeating is self inflicted abuse.
2. I can always wait til tomorrow to start eating healthy again. TRUTH IS my body will show every calorie I overeat .
3. It is ok to eat anything as long as no one sees me eating. TRUTH IS that I cannot hide being overweight.
4. I can't lose 20 lbs. TRUTH IS that I am in the process of losing 20 lbs in a healthy and loving way.
5. I am afraid of . . . . TRUTH IS that God is always with me. My spirit is strong and I need not fear anything.
6. People can hurt my feelings. TRUTH IS do not take things personally as it is never about me.
7. It is hard . . . TRUTH IS whether you think it is hard or easy, you are right.
8. Thinking I can reach my goals with no effort. TRUTH IS I have to work at them each and every day.

Life may not be the party we hoped for, but while we are here we might as well dance.

Even if we lose the race, we are still a winner (just a slow winner).

As long as you keep moving, you are still lapping those on the couch.

Do not take things personally as it is never about us.

Don't find fault, find a remedy.

That is true we need God in everything we do we should lean on him more, as he tells us to do that is where pray comes in we need to talk to him in pray.

Yes we can do this. When my thoughts are of loving myself I do very well. When I fall back into my "worldly mindset" I blow it.

"If I completely trusted God, I would feel perfectly safe because I would know that I am supported by the Source of all strength and limitless Love. I would need nothing else.

The fact that I donít feel that safety is a sure indication that I am trusting in my own strength because I am denying my Source of strength. Having denied the Source of strength, a sense of vulnerability and weakness is inevitable. The ego is the idea of independence, being separate, and therefore perceives dependence on God as weakness. This is typical of perception, which always sees itself reflected back to it.

The way back to the complete assurance of my wholeness and invulnerability is to let go of belief in being separate. I do this whenever I remember to step back and welcome my inner Teacherís vision in place of the egoís projections. Today as I practice doing this, I continue on my journey of awakening to my wholeness in Love."

Food does not comfort me.

For years I believed foods were my friends and that they comforted me when I was tired, sad, etc..

I know now that sugary foods not only do not comfort me but they make me fat and feel worse. I am happy to say that we no longer are friends.

My true friends are fruits, vegetables and whole grains. They do make me healthy and feel good.
