I just bought dance central 2 this weekend at game stop for $13. I love it so far. I am working through the fitness routines. I downloaded the dance central 1 songs. I love the new themes and graphics. However I absolutely hate the break it down mode. I want the have my old swipe to slow down menu which appears on the top, or the default setting which goes on to the next move after you totally fail a move so many times. In DC2, I get stuck for soooo long on one move that my 50 year old body is never going to be able to do. I don't have a microphone and even though I have calibrated my voice commands, and my tracking it still doesn't work. It never detects my right hand long enough to complete the command to slow down. And I don't have a head set so I have to find my t.v. remote mute the song then give the command to slow down or speed up. What a pain. Anyone have any suggestions?

On another subject, I just purchased UFC personal trainer and the biggest loser they should be in about a week so look for challenges to begin with them once I get them and get to using them. I was looking to do either Zumba core or Zumba Rush but the other two were only $9.99 preowned at game stop. I couldn't pass it up.

I have really ignored my workouts, therefore not losing weight. But this past week I have gotten back to going to the gym, and moving my room, so I have been getting a lot of exercise. I did buy some more Kinect games, so I will try them out soon. I also invested in Hip Hop Abs, I ordered it directly from the website for $199.99 plus S&H.

It seems to being going fairly well, I am on both DietBet and Skinnyo as sort of a motivation, but I find the workouts on Your Shake Fitness Evolved 2012 to be the best around, Dripping with sweat by the end.
If anyone hasn't tried that game or hasn't given it enough of a chance, you really should.

Most days I do a short toning video or two and then play some Dance Central. I'm starting to get outside for some dog walks, but not as often as I should be. Once it finally warms up I need to make that a more regular habit, as my dog needs to lose nearly as much weight as I do!

I need to lay out a schedule or game plan. I'm just sort of winging it atm. It's working so far, but won't forever. I try to walk every 2 days, minimum of 2 miles. Kinect goal is 20 min a day but sharing with the kids means i usually get 3-4 times a week. I really need to up the strength training. I'll be joining a zumba class this week.

The elevator to success is out of order. You'll have to use the stairs...one step at a time.

for me I do a hour walk every morning then on Monday I do a hour aerobic class and Tues. & Thur. I do a hour strength training and on Wed. I do a hour step aerobic class I really like that one a lot....when the weather finally changes I'm going to walk outside on this path that's a hour and twenty mins long I love outdoor walks then do the classes after that but I'm doing great actually....Eating is on point so I have no complaint right now....

I try and run w/friends at least once a week and go to the gym at least once a week as well. I try to go as often as possible. Sometimes I play sports, dance or my fitness games w/my children on kinect.
