I was raised in a Christian home and accepted Christ when I was 7 years old. I reaffirmed my faith when I was 12. I am actively involved in my church which uses the Bible as our authority and profess faith in Jesus Christ as the only way to heaven as stated in the Bible.
Jesus said "I am the way, the truth and the life no man cometh to the Father but by Me." John 14:6
"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
I was raised in a church that didn't preach the gospel but trusted their traditions. I joined the Navy. I was in Olongapo city while my ship was at the now closed Subic Bay Naval Base. I walked into the Maranatha Serivcman's center and a man there introduced me to Jesus.

Both my parents believed in God but weren't practicing Christians however really good people. When I was quite young my Mom would send my Sisters and I to church along with our cousins and that little Church I loved and became a true Believer. I loved Sunday School, church and VBS each summer. After many years God is still by my side even carrying me along when Life gets hard. Through the years I've never doubted his word nor that he loves me unconditionally. He gives me strength when I feel I have none left.

Here's your chance to share your testimony. How did you come to faith?
I did not come from a Christian home, but my sister attended church and after a summer of VBS, I began to attend Sunday School and church. When I was about 10, I decided that I wanted to ask Jesus to be my savior. I talked to my sister about it and she shared scripture with me, (she was 16) and told me to go forward at the invitation next time I was in church. (That was the tradition in that church.)
I got away from my Christian walk in college, decided I didn't need Him, He was for weak people who needed a crutch. I know, pretty stupid. Anyway when I was 24 and had made some stupid mistakes and wrong decisions, I came home from work one day to find on the front door a key-shaped tract that said "Key to a new Life". I thought that is just what I needed so began to attend church again and came back to the Lord. Of course, I know He never left me. I'm so glad.
