I'm 46 and still get the occassional break out at that time of the month. I dab acne with milk of magnesia, leave on overnight, then rinse with warm water. Acne heals overnight or within 2 days;no scarring. Milk of mg can be very drying so i always use moisturiser after rinsing.

My dermatologist told me that Benzoyl Peroxide is the only thing that kills the bacteria which causes acne. I get mine from Amazon and get the Oxy 10% wash, and I can get 6 for $15! My insurance covered one little dried out bottle for $15, so I am always searching for a better deal.
I love Oil of Olay though, so I may have to give that a try. :)

Pro-Active worked for me for a while but they were a little expensive for what I was making at work at that time. That was about 8 years ago, though, and I have heard that they've even improved their formula. I wish they didn't just sell from online since I find it more convenient to purchase from a store.
I will have to try the Olay products, also. Thanks for sharing!

While I'm a bit older than you, I'm using Olay ProX Acne solution. I started getting really bad cystic acne on and off since I had my first child at 37. It really has seemed to work and has kept the acne at bay and my face clear.

I am 24 and have been suffering from acne since 18. It is driving me crazy, mainly because the breakouts are under the skin..large and painful Any advice of products which work the best? I use bare minerals on a daily basis My skin type is neither oily nor dry
