I don't think the lipstain is worth the money. Not saying I don't like it, I do, but not for the price. Also, it doesn't really stain extremely well. Check out Korres lip butters at Sephora! It's also a natural line. Not a lip stain, but I do find it stains a bit on me at least. But they're less expensive and I like them way more. I like the consistency-- Creamy, a little glossy but not sticky. I love Pomegranate and Quince. I also have Plum. My sister likes more reddish colors, so I convinced her to get Wild Rose.
Let's see. I do think the Tarte cheek stains are worth the money if you wear blush a lot. They can double as a lip stain but I don't like the taste. The cheek stains last a longgg time so the price is justified, I think. I really like Blissful and Tipsy. I got Blushing Bride for my sister and she likes it.
Tarte tinted moisturizer is good, but I don't like that in some lights it looks shimmery. But it usually doesn't. What other Tarte products are you looking at?
If you're searching for a lipstain, I LOVE Benefit's Posietint. I like pinks so I use that one, but if you don't Benetint is good too. Benetint has a more watery consistency, whereas Posietint is a littleee bit more creamy.
I use this when I'm not using my Nars blush: http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jhtm l?id=P38468&categoryId=C12001
I have Blushing Bride and True Love. I love them. I mostly just use them on my cheeks, but in a pinch, they work as lip stains, too.
My go-to lip stain is Benetint. I use the double-ended wand that has tint on one side and gloss on the other. I have a couple of the Tarte lip stains that look like crayons (ah, QVC, why must you sell cosmetics? You know my resistance is low when I'm tired!). They work pretty well and you can layer them to build up the color. I'm not sure they last quite as long as the Benetint, but then again, I bite my lips a lot, so I might not be the best person to ask. :-)
I'm oh so damn delicious, you got to lick your dishes.
I'm interested in the lip stain too but haven't brought myself to actually purchase it. However, I did just get the Lights, Camera, Lashes! mascara on sale at Ulta last week & so far I looooove it. It makes my lashes look really good, long, thick but natural too (like they might be my own).
Also, with the natural theme. I use water blush because it looks 100% like a natural flush in your cheeks. I use Pixie's brand, kind off an off brand of Benefit's but it works so well.
