If you saw my eyebrows a few months ago...wow..I was in and out of hospitals and had no time to get mine done correctly. I too cannot deal with mine plucking them because mine are off set. I now just go get them waxed, shaped and arched emoticon

Thanks! I think when I go to get my hair cut I will ask them what they can do for me.
No, I didn't slug him, I forgave him. Then he dumped me because apparently I smell like cigarette smoke-I don't smoke but my parents do and I live with them.
It has been over a year and I am happier without him. He wasn't much of a loss anyways ;)

I had mine waxed at a salon the first time (wow, that was 10 years ago, I feel so old now...) and it did not hurt. But the girl who did it was the best in the salon so anyone without her expertise might not be as pain-free. After the waxing, I was able to just tweeze away the stray hairs that grew in. If you don't like tweezing, you can use Nair or Veet to "melt" the stray hairs away.

My eyebrows are thin also and I've found that filling them in with pencil looks way too fakey on me. What I do instead is fill them in with a dark brown eye shadow (I use MAC Espresso) and just lightly dust. It gives them the illusion of more thickness without it looking so obviously drawn-on, like with pencil.

I also sympathize with the facial "peach fuzz" since I have it, too. I also just use Nair all over. I recommend the Sensitive Skin formula of whatever brand of depilatory you decide to use since the skin on your face might get too irritated with regular formulas. I have to do it once a week but it does help if the fuzz is causing you self-esteem issues. By the way, I hope you slugged the guy who made fun of you for it!

You should find an esthetician in your area who specializes in brows. Look on google or check those "Best of (Your city)" polls. S/he can wax, thread and/or pluck your brows into the correct shape for your features. S/he can also show you how to fill them in (which, it sounds like you might need to do.) Also, this person can guide you on what might be the best choice for removing your extra facial hair. Waxing/threading/plucking, etc. sounds painful, but it's really not that bad. (Take a couple of pain killers about 45 mins. before your waxing appt.)
Don't be turned off by the price. Oftentimes, the esthetician will give you such a good "base" that you can just pluck the stray hairs at home and you'll only need to see that person a couple of times a year. (May be more, though if you need to have extra facial hair removed often.)
EDIT: Everyone has that baby peach fuzz hair on their faces! If yours is dark, you can also look at a mild depilatory or bleach. If it's coarse, you'll want to talk to the esthetician about your options.

Go to a makeup speacialist who is able to shape your eye brows for you. I had a makeup artist shape mine. She did a very good job. You can google for your area. As far as the facial hair, I don't know anything about it. You could consider tatooing eye brows. The make up artist had her eye brows tatooed in and it looked very good.

I really hate my eyebrows! They are like not very shaped in any way, maybe straight? I've tried to pluck some shape into them without success. They are also short and thin? I might have some pics on my page...
I don't know if it is possible to go to like a hair salon and have them shaped? Does it hurt? Like waxing? I am bad at using make-up, so I don't think I would be good at "drawing" my own in with a liner, though I have thought of that.
Then...I don't know if it is just me but I have facial hair!! emoticon
I've actually had a boyfriend pick on me about it... emoticon
I didn't think it was that noticable though...unless the lighting is bad. If you see me from a normal distance, you probably don't see it...if I get up close to the bathroom mirror though I can see it on my chin and cheeks.
I know shaving will make it come in darker and worse. My mom plucks hair on her face all the time. That is kind of time consuming...I've plucked maybe 4 annoying ones on my chin and they came back in worse! So now I always have to pluck them...
is there anything effective for this or is it just "normal" and should I just live with it?
Thanks
