I wouldn't go so far as to say it is head ache free! Lots of long stretches of knit one, yarn over.....then knitting and purling three at a time! I've gotten far enough along to see that it is going to be a nice scallopy sort of lace pattern. It has some weird purl rows in between that I do not care for--but this is likely going to be gifted away anyway.

Simple can be good. No headaches.

Our internet is off and on, so I may not be around for a while. They are working on it. You know how it goes, they upgraded equipment and everything quits working. Lost half our channels and internet. Got part of the channels back, but internet is not trustworthy.

I can imagine. I have crocheted with something about like that. I managed to complete one collar (remember those from the 80's) and never did anything else. Nope, gonna stick to afghans for me.

On this, you have no idea! I'm using a stranded cotton yarn on size 3 needles. It's gorgeous, don't get me wrong....but think of knitting with 4 peices of quilting wt thread, just held together.

What a beautiful day today. I took the dog for an extra long walk today and though I would have to carry her the last 1/2 mile back. Then this evening I got an extra 15 minutes on the trainer. It was a great day.

It got to 62 today! What a great day. Took the grands fishing for a bit after church, then went to the park before taking them home. What a beautiful day. Next, dinner then on the trainer.

WooHoo! It is up to 17 this morning! It was SO cold at midnight when the dog wanted out. Sure hope this was our last cold blast for the year. Some of the trees and shrubs are already budding, sure would hate to lose them.

Got my 30 minutes in on the trainer today, then we moved it into the living area downstairs. Now I can watch TV and ride, that will make it much more fun. Not quite like riding outside, but better than in the laundry room.

Had a great (read slow and un-eventful) day at work. Came home and got 20 minutes on the trainer, them Mom called and talked for 45 minutes. That's ok, it was good to talk with her. Tomorrow I have a lot of errands to take care of before the freezing rain gets here.
