Did two virtual 5Ks in the past few weeks - go me! I'm not usually a runner but sometimes I like to try something new just to shake things up. I did my first in about 44 minutes (walking with some running intervals) and my second in under 37 minutes (running with some walking intervals) We really need to start a November challenge thread!

I just joined the Spark People virtual 5k race - Trick or Treat Trot - never done a 5k and figure this might be an easy way to start - all I have to do is run/walk a 5k course of my own choosing next week and record my own time here on Spark.
Anyone else want to do it with me??

October personal challenge: I'm going to try to keep up with the goals I set for myself in September. Did pretty well for that month and am hoping to make some of my goals permanent enhancements to my life. Challenges I set for myself last month 1. get a workout in a minimum of every other day. 2. Plan dinner around my family's schedule (lots of crocking!) 3. Clean a trouble spot in my house for 15 minutes each day. 4. Remind my family to do a 5 minute clean up right before dinner while I'm getting dinner on the table.
Not all of these are happening every day - but we're seeing improvements.
I'm WITH YOU!!! I'm adding NO SWEET TEA to my #1, but the rest? YES! And last Thur I started the WW Points + 2012 system, and I've stuck to it for what, 6 days? woot! I can't wait to weigh in Thur and see where I'm at! Let's DO THIS! :)
