All our small victories are making us stronger!!

I was at a cocktail party & ate lots of fresh veggies instead of higher calorie choices. 6 weeks in, I'm more determined than ever.

I got a call from the gym yesterday, and had joined our gym's Biggest Loser Contest in the beginning of January. She informed me I had actually won it, I was so surprised. It was actually a really good motivation to keep going to the gym. I received free membership to the gym and $65! I'm so excited!

being on the set of a commercial my daughter was shooting yesterday & choosing fruit & pretzels for snacks instead of quiche & cookies! In the past I would have been stuffing my face, especially since I was by myself for long periods of time where no one would have seen me. The craft services person even commented on how healthy I eat. I told her I have for the past 5 weeks! Thanks SP.

Realizing that something had to be done about my terrible work schedule. Family comes first! And...making the change will help me with my health and fitness goals, too. I had to get out of this funk I've been in for the past 3 months!

For doing my BEST to drink 8 glasses of water when in the past I'd SHUN it for soda or milk. This is a VAST improvement for me. Now to move onto another challenge. I also am eating more fruits when b4 I ate NONE I am now eating 1 serving a day, now to move that up to 2 or 3 a day. I am finding out they aren't bad at all. Sure do WISH I'd feel that way about veggies !

...having the courage to walk into a spin class a couple weeks ago, climb on a spin bike for the first time in my life, and ask for help from total strangers on how to adjust it properly.

I've been going 3 times a week ever since, and it horrifies me to think my self-consciousness could have held me back from what has become my absolute favorite workout. Everyone in there is great, and I look forward to it, and them!

It was a wake-up call that I've been missing out on things because of my weight. That is about to change.

*It's not about being who everyone else wants you to be; It's about being yourself, and finding someone who loves every bit of it!

paying attention to the food tracker to help with my choices. I went out for dinner last night and would have ordered something else but when I saw that I was way under in carbs, I had pasta (and only 1/2!)

Entering my food every day for the past 2 weeks that I've been with SP! And buying an apple or pear at the supermarket to eat when I'm hungry instead of a bag of chips. And ordering fish for lunch instead of a cheeseburger.
