Okay any second I'm going to start my "healthy eating" plan. Any second...Sigh I hate when life gets in the way.

I may have a new plan for May June. With all the grad parties, showers, weddings, etc, I think I'll stuff a tennis ball in my mouth before I go out. emoticon

I've been mostly vegetarian for decades now. I eat when I'm hungry and try not to eat just 'cause there is food around that looks good. I buy fresh local veggies as much as possible, so what's around the house to snack on is mostly good for me. I batch cook. I don't avoid fats or carbs. I guess the most succinct way to describe it would be Michael Pollan's advice:
Eat food. Mostly plants. Not too much.

I'm not sure what my diet plan will be. It changes daily. lol I know that if I eat several small meals including protein, healthy carbs, freggies, water, healthy fats and occasional treats then I will succeed and be able to be consistent with my eating habits. Now whether or not I actually DO it is another thing. Sigh. I did choose an orange over candy tonight.

My plan is pretty much Paleo and Low Carb. That's meat protein and the bright colored vegetables.

Since I am living with DH and visit with family, I dont' always follow this.
