I've still been trying to keep my sugars below 6 and my carbs at 4-5 this week. I'm thinking I might go lower with the sugars next week.

How's it going with the 15/6 challenge?

I've been sticking to mine. This week I've tried to keep my levels at
S= 6 or less
C= 4-5

I like to switch it up every now and then because fat likes my body too much.

As you can see I'm still learning and doing the best I can.
When I weighed myself in the middle of the week I had gained
a pound and it really got me down but I'm not giving up,but I
can use all the help and advice anyone can send my way.I've
been writing everything I eat in a notebook so I can look back
and see what I'm doing wrong and one of the problems I see
Is that some times I don't eat enough protein and I worry about
getting too much calories and fat.Well Monday was my weigh-day
and I only lost the the 1 pound I had gained in the middle of the week. emoticon

Hmm, perhaps you could post what your typical day's meals would be like. If you're not comfortable doing that, you can certainly send me a private message.

Include condiments, sauces, etc. Dry seasonings don't usually count.

I can totally understand your frustration - it's very hard for me to lose weight thanks to my health issues and some meds, but please hang in there! It will happen!

I am staying under the 15/6. I made the mac and cheese recipe in his book and gained weight! Too much fat! But it sure was good....

Aww Connie just hang in there! Are you seeing any changes in your clothes? Maybe inches are coming off first. That's kind of how it happened for me.

Hold steady and it will come off!

Okay folks - Let the challenge begin! This is where you will post your daily intake of 15/6 (or less) no cheating....
emoticon

All that's needed is for you to post, if you maintained the 15/6 S/C value (or less) per day. We thought it would be a good way to get a jump-start, or restart for the spring.

We want to wish everyone who accepts the challenge the best - and we'll see how much weight we lose at the end of the month!
