HTML is a series of symbols. Two of those symbols, usually designating the beginning and ending of a command, are what you get when you press CAP and comma - you get the backward arrow head. When you type Cap and uppercase period, you get the symbol for a forward arrow.

If the little word processing program that Spark uses senses either of those two symbols, it gives you that "No Hypertext Mark-up, please".

HTML(Hyper Text Markup Language) is computer code. If you "add an emoticon," what shows between the brackets before you hit "post" is html.

So if you've used those brackets (left/right arrows) at all in your post, SP considers that you are trying to put html in your message. There might be other symbols that offend SP, too...but I'm not savvy enough to know them all.

Chris is partially right. When email was first "born" it used html coding so the clever geeks who started the free email progy decided to call it HoTMaiL. (Geeks can be funny, too...in fact I suspect a couple of our teammates to be geeks at heart.) But you don't need to reset anything to accept hotmail...not pertinent at SP.

You can list it somewhere on your daily 'template' or list it in your head. Although I think Deb pretty much has it covered with her generic "lunch" which I'm assuming most of us have been eating.

I was just flipping through the dictionary for a good L-word to use and came across a bunch of L-foods--lemons, limes, lima beans, lentils. I didn't want to shoehorn y'all into eating something you might find disgusting.

As Sal pointed out, I was being 'downright mean' requesting that we eat fewer than our allotted calories for the day...it only has to be one calorie less!

I am seeing wheel points twice, at the beginning and under login so post login points twice?
Hope that its right, but the wheel is usually merciless to me anyway!
