No, not currently, but my brain is always spinning...
May post a revived idea from another team later today for a 3-day challenge, and I'm always on the lookout for games on other teams to swipe...so anything is possible.
Are there any other games ongoing besides hangman? One other person actually posted on the trivia thread. Hopefully somemore will participate this month. Always liked that one.
If you want to be happy, desire and pursue happiness more for others than yourself, and your own well-being will take care of itself. Dedicate your weight-loss journey and the achievement of all your goals to someone else and think of them when times get tough.
Dam, I actually ate my fruits and veggies yesterday, what a waste!

Today tracked my food and drank my water. Within calories so far but the night is young.
so I guess
10/29 3 pts.
we'll see what the other point is for, I stink at eating veggies.

Okay, so new game starts today, the 29th. Let's keep it to 5 eligible points per day. So what do we want to track? a, b, c, and what shall we make "d" and "e"?

1. Copy and paste these instructions to your own post.
2. Do not make a new post each day...return to your original post and edit it to update your score.
3. 3 points per day, maximum, earned in the following ways: a. track all of your food eaten in the nutrition tracker or by journaling - 1 point b. actually stay within your personal calorie range (it MIGHT happen!) - 1 point c. eat your "5 a day" (servings of fruits and veggies) - 1 point
4. Post your total points for the day. No details necessary. We just want high scores, and don't care how you got them...as long as you came by them honestly.

We're not quite done, Sal.
Haven't you noticed I always change the rules in midstream?
We're going to 25 points now, with an option for renewal.

just reviewed the first post, said we were doing this one week and I remember the start day was the 20th, so are we done now?

well I told you there was not much of my mind left after the "wheel" discussion! I also had not had my first cup of hot tea, so there! I will "amend" it ... boy some people are picky, picky!

Well, Snow-lovin' Debby...
We can add other things once this first game is over. I wanted to keep it simple (like our minds) to get people involved at first.
As far as tracking MORE than 8 cups of water...well, THOSE people are suicidal maniacs, in my opinion, and I'm not sure they should be encouraged.
However, this challenge is meant to be a food-oriented challenge, so we'll keep it separate from the "Wheel of Whatever" challenge (which is physical, i.e. exercise-oriented).
Reminder: If everyone* keeps a running total of points, then seeing who is in the lead is quickly ascertainable. *Everyone except Chris, who seems to think that 1 point times 5 days equals 6.

Hey, how about a point for drinking 8 glasses of water? and a point for every glass after that? How many points possible? And point for not whining? (or not wine - ing?) and point for that $%^%&* parawhatever wheel?

And the challenge doesn't officially start until today...I just put the 19th as an example for y'all.

Banking on the competitiveness of this team (based on the Paraprosdokian Wheel of Hangman thread) to get me over the hump.
I returned from a 2-month RV trip in June, and have not been able to get myself back in the mode of journaling my food thru SP's Nutrition Tracker...even though I'd done it for 11 months straight before the trip. Consequently, I have been putting some pounds back on...WAH!
So here's the challenge, and we'll just do it for a week and see if we're "enjoying" (ha-ha) the competition, and then may extend it accordingly:
Copy and paste the following into your own message, so that should this thread become longer than four posts (the proven average attention span of sarcastics) the newbies will not have to read all the way to the original post to have a clue.
