I've seen that before and I always err on whatever the higher value is. I'd rather overestimate what I'm eating than underestimate. The 49 weekly points give us so much lee-way anyway.

Well, the calculator takes into account all four elements. But if you look up the Nutritional Information for something like an orange you will discover that it should have 3 PPV. Shazam! That's why fruit is not actually free, just 0PPV.

So in the infinite wisdom from on high in Jericho NY, they have manipulated some of the points plus values.

I convinced my mother to join WW. She's going to meetings, though, and I do online only. She called me last night with questions about the etools. One thing she said was that the book she received in her meeting had a particular food listed at one amount of points, but when she put the information into the calculator on etools, it came up with a different amount of points. She was wondering which number to use.

She's done WW in the past, and said that she had been told before (years ago?) to use the higher point amount. I think that it's safer to go with the amount from the calculator, but figured it didn't matter as long as she was consistent in her tracking.

Opinions?
