My ALL TIME favorite oatmeal: rolled/steel cut oats with peanut butter, banana, cinnamon and sunwarrior protein powder. I have it for breakfast every day. Yum!! =)

If rolled oats are soaked over night with 1 T. of whey (active culture as from yogurt) and water to cover, the phytic acid is reduced making them easier to digest. I add dried fruit: pears from our tree, bananas and raisins instead of sweetener and serve with milk. Oatmeal with salsa? That's a new one, but why not!
Best breakfast every... Oatmeal with peanut butter and baking cocoa. I've also tried oatmeal with almonds, oatmeal with a little banana, and... oatmeal with salsa! Pretty much, I've been making oatmeal and then seeing what I have in the fridge/cupboard and experimenting. It makes breakfast so much more fun! (For someone who doesn't like breakfast...)
