My ALL TIME favorite oatmeal: rolled/steel cut oats with peanut butter, banana, cinnamon and sunwarrior protein powder. I have it for breakfast every day. Yum!! =)

i make steel cut oats with raisins. the steel cut oats takes longer to cook but oh so good. the raisins are so sweet you just need a little skim milk.

I found a recipe that added Rosemary, Maple Syrup, Ground Black Pepper and Walnuts. I was hesitant, but it was good . . . savory & sweet. I've made it twice so far, nice for a change.

I cook mine in water with cinnamon then add walnuts, almond milk, flax, and bee pollen. Once in a while I sweeten it with a little pure maple syrup or some blueberries.

Oh, I love almond milk! And soy milk! Usually I make my oatmeal with water, though, to keep the calories down.

I like some cinnamon on mine with some dried, unsweetened cranberries. And almond milk. YUM!

It was mango peach salsa... Very low calorie and very good for you. I was wary at first, but it tasted soooo good! I made it that way again this morning.

If rolled oats are soaked over night with 1 T. of whey (active culture as from yogurt) and water to cover, the phytic acid is reduced making them easier to digest. I add dried fruit: pears from our tree, bananas and raisins instead of sweetener and serve with milk.
Oatmeal with salsa? That's a new one, but why not!

Best breakfast every... Oatmeal with peanut butter and baking cocoa. I've also tried oatmeal with almonds, oatmeal with a little banana, and... oatmeal with salsa! Pretty much, I've been making oatmeal and then seeing what I have in the fridge/cupboard and experimenting. It makes breakfast so much more fun! (For someone who doesn't like breakfast...)
