I like Kicking Horse coffee. I don't drink too much coffee anymore, but sometimes.... (I used to drink 2 pots a day!)

This stuff is fair trade and organic. I get the Kick @SS roast.

It's a little bit pricey. But, like I said, I don't drink it everyday.

Thank you for the recipe for the creamer. I only use half and half or heavy cream for my coffee. Never cared for the flavored stuff, that being said. I am looking for a better coffee. I like my coffee in the morning, I have tried the teecino. I did not like it at all. So as not to waste it I slowly mixed it with a regular brand. I normally drink Green Mountain, starbucks or folgers.
thanks

Hospitals are terrific for traumatic care; for acute care. They do a really, really good job in saving lives when it’s a sudden bleeding emergency. But in terms of chronic care, they’re terrible; (that is) in terms of the illnesses that most people have, endure, that cost the most money, that last the longest and ultimately die from. -Dr. Andrew Saul

I just started the Eat Clean and one of the things I was sad to give up was my coffee creamer. I only used a little of it, but I am devoted, so I dumped it out. I will have to give this one a try although I am forcing myself to drink it black. To be honest, I was sort of a coffee-addict anyway, and too much of one thing is not good. This has already helped me cut down my coffee intake.

Wow, thanks for that review. I won't waste my money on the teeccino. I get coffee for free at work and I'm hooked. I'll just stick with tea on the weekends since I rarely bother making coffee at home.

I tried teeccino once and really didn't like it. It wasn't anything like coffee. It wasn't anything like tea. It was just weird. That was, maybe 8 years ago and perhaps they have improved their recipe. They advertise it as being "just like coffee". I don't agree with that. Tastes (to me) like something over-roasted and even burnt. There are other products like teeccino on the market (like Cafix) but I don't know if people would like that any better. It's been a very long time since I had either of those 2 products so...
Anyway, there aren't too many products in the food industry that i like anyway--just too over-processed and/or refined, etc....I guess. Real coffee for me and not too much...it's a treat any more.

I like my coffee unsweetened, but I would like to try the teeccino. I hope my local Vitamin Cottage carries it.

If you don't mind consuming dairy and you like those tiny flavored coffee creamer "buckets" that are so full of bad ingredients, here's some recipes for some healthier ones. Personally, I don't use any sweetening in my coffee but I'd like to have some of these for when company is coming over. Hmmm, I might try making this with coconut milk which I LOVE in my tea. I also might try using liquid stevia instead of or half and half with the maple syrup. Anyway...
