Thanks Amber for that confirmation

Hospitals are terrific for traumatic care; for acute care. They do a really, really good job in saving lives when it’s a sudden bleeding emergency. But in terms of chronic care, they’re terrible; (that is) in terms of the illnesses that most people have, endure, that cost the most money, that last the longest and ultimately die from. -Dr. Andrew Saul

That's almost exactly how I make my raw brownies, definitely no need to bake!

5 lbs of muscle simply takes up less space than 5 lbs of fat!

Thanks-I will have to try to get the ingredients. Walnuts and chocolate, no problem; dates, I'm not sure that I have ever seen them here-but I have always loved dates!

Those do look good. I agree ANI. I actually don't see why there is any need to bake them... with those ingredients. I would make them raw also.

These are like the "Nectar" line of Clif bars that seem to be discontinued--boohoohoo. these are/were the only bars in the Clif Bar product line that don't have a lot of added junk in them.

BUT, we can make them ourselves!

the author of this recipe says to bake them but I'm thinking they would be better raw, chilled and then cut into squares and wrapped individually and kept in refrigerator--that's just my thinking at the moment.
