LOL, a zip in not so slim and it won't fit there without hurting or bothering me. But the explanation of less steps with Leslie does make sense.

I have found that when I am doing carpentry work it doesn't seem to credit me with activity. I guess because I am not moving my legs enough.

On the other hand. I once drove for eight ours and I still racked up 11,000 steps. Sitting still in the car.

I use Leslie Sansone dvds and wear my FitBit on my waist. I do believe it counts the steps accurately, but her miles do not give me as many steps as walking outside for the same number of miles. The reasons for this is she does other steps which take two counts, or there is not an actual transfer of weight to count and the other reason is that she says she gets the mileage from the beats per minute. When I walk outside I always get 2000 or more steps per mile. On the dvds that I use, it is about 1200 steps for one of her miles. But if I do her "five mile" dvd, I get about 6000 steps in about one hour, which makes it easy for me to get the rest to complete 10000.

LECATES, I am VERY well endoweded and my ultra and one had no issue picking up steps. Clip it close to the center when the sepaartor is. that way the bounces will help pick with the steps counting (and it will not double count them)

Everybody tells me that they would love to knit, but they don't have time. I look at people's lives and I can see opportunity and time for knitting all over the place. The time spent riding the bus each day? That's a pair of socks over a month. Waiting in line? Mittens. Watching TV? Buckets of wasted time that could be an exquisite lace shawl. ~Stephanie Pearl-McPhee, At Knit's End: Meditations for Women Who Knit Too Much

Haven't done one of my dvds since I got it ----but would be interested to know---I have a Zip and I don't think it registers all that well on the bra---or maybe too well as I am well endowed and probably bounce a lot---LOL

where are you wearing it that it is not picking up the steps. I have tried it when I was at my inlaws house and it picked up the steps, no problem. Mine is on my bra with the sensor against my check

yep anything you put in manually will not sync over.

perhaps you might also try starting the stop watch feature when you do it and see if that counts steps as you do it

Will fitbit work with Leslie Sansone dvds? I like to "walk at home" but it isn't picking up the steps. If I log a 2-mile walk manually, it shows on my steps but doesn't sync to sparkpeople. It also doesn't give you the exercise badges but I don't really care about that. Any others out there using walk at home tapes?
