Let's just say I wish I DIDN'T have the time, that's how slow work has been the past 2 months.

I'm now only doing 6 days a week, and I've dropped the pushups and situps down to 4 or 5 times a week. Burnout was starting to set in, and I need to get my body used to 'maintanance' as I've just about reached my goal.

Here's a peep. I loved it, too. March has definitely been harder for me. On the one hand, I've upped my cardio pledge, but on the other hand, I'm a little concerned about achieving it. And I don't know that I'll be able to make my birthday goal, but I am not giving up.

Good for you for continuing your program, SHUTYER. Wish I had the time and/or discipline. Maybe in May (if it's not too hot).

17 days and still no peep.... I loved it; it kept my accountable for the month of February. March has been harder...took a week off of exercise as I was traveling out of town for a wedding, then my mom was going thru her first intense chemo treatment for breast cancer...that first week is nasty. I'm back in the groove now, but that first day was a "killer"! emoticon

So...what'd everybody think? We're 8 days past this challenge and nobody has made a peep! Thoughts? Revelations?

For myself, the challenge did push me to workout on 2 days I normally would have passed on. Before the challenge I was pretty much working out 7 days a week anyways, but now and then I throw the towel in just for a break. Didn't happen this month. It was also interesting keeping track of measurements I normally pay no attention to. As a guy, I wanted my arms, chest, thighs, and calves to get bigger, but it didn't happen. Just goes to show me that I'll actually need to target them with weights, cause otherwise they just get smaller with weight loss.

I was disappointed I didn't drop more weight, but these final few pounds are proving to be a royal pain, so it wasn't the challenges fault!

All in all I'm glad I participated. I was also doing a pushup challenge at the same time, and I'm finding that joining these things really keeps me motivated. The pushup challenge has carried over into March and now includes situps, and I'm still forging ahead with working out 7 days a week despite 'bootcamp' being over. I mean hey, these last 4 pounds aren't gonna drop on their own!

Due to ankle & overall leg weakness in my right leg (resulting from that stroke I had 5 years ago), I have to modify the Day 1 workout so much so that it can't really count. I mean, I feel my heart rate increase just enough to bring me to the brink of sweating, but not enough that I feel like I'm working out. Mostly disappointment that I am unable to do it full on. So to complement the Day 1 workout, I will also be adding 30 min of walking. I hope that's okay, and will not exclude me from the contest.

Whatever is best for you is fine with me. I do think that the amount of time you do your strength training should be somewhat equivalent to the videos, only because, in the event of a tie on consistency, the number of exercise minutes done will determine the winner of the challenge.

To copy the grid, put your mouse/pointer at the beginning of the line you want to copy, left click and hold and drag to highlight the area you want to copy, then release and press right click, release and press copy.
