OK...
So I guess I should double/triple post this a few places...
I'm going to remove myself as team leader today. It has nothing to do with Spark People -- just too much personal drama in my life right now. My husband and I are slowly working on a separation. As soon as I find a decent job, a decent daycare for my son, and an apartment (probably sometime in September) -- I'll be moving out...
So I won't actually start that July thread that I've been thinking about... I'm not sure how active I'll be on Spark Teams.
Instead, I think I'll work on a daily blog starting July 1st.
I'll finish out June with the final weigh-in here (I might weigh-in Wed and Thurs...) Then on my own in July...
Just thought I'd let everyone know.

Digging a hole is good exercise...but not real fun. Mowing the yard will get you steps and time in the sun. But spending time with friends and family outside cant be beat...espacially at our local shooting range! I am one tired girl! Cant wait to hit the week running (well, fast walk to a jog!). This thing called life might not be easy, but we cant forget to have fun along the way!

I joined the SP-5KYourWay Walking Program.....and started today with a 15 minute walk that turned into a 30 minute walk and covered 1.26 miles...LOL.
5 weeks to "learn" how to walk a 5K (3.1 miles) in 3 day per week intervals....Not much different than C25K, but just on a walking program. That will pretty much get me thru July.
No promises, but maybe after this......the intermediate walk/jog program??!?!?!?
I have to choose something, stick with it and get beyond these 10 pounds I keep gaining and losing.

What's your MOTIVATION to kick off July on the right foot?
Are you feeling good about where you are right now? Why? What are the positives you've accomplished so far?
What are your goals for July? What are your rewards for reaching each mini goal?

Internet seems to be working so far. They installed some boost thingy to our cable line, and they're going to install a mega boost thingy for our entire apartment complex in the next few weeks. I guess there's no need to cancel if it works ;)

For Sexy State of Mind, I'm going to suggest that we each work on our own personal "mini challenge" for July -- and just post our stories in one thread for the month.
I've been hyper-emotional lately. I don't know what's up with me. I guess it's because nothing is ever set in stone in my life. Ryan likes his job, that's about it. Everything else is still up in the air...

Motivation: Simply stated -- feeling better, mind, body and soul.
Goals/Plans for July: Keep on getting social with the Out Door Adventure Group. Get back on track by going back to SP Kindergarten...LOL...baby steps for Auntie Carol Not letting the work monster take over my life.
Rewards: New magazine subscription. The reward that keeps on giving all year, cheap! for short term Maybe a new pair of Keen's from zappos.com at the end of the summer. for long term

Thoughts for motivation
This one I am actually going to need a bit of help on. My motivation comes from doing. Succeeding. I have very vague goals...such as being able to wear shorts, or lift my quad out of the sand or energy. I have never really rewarded myself I suppose. I mean, I have bought new clothes, but it was simply because I needed them (shorts and tanks for a hot summer) Not because I was working toward them. Plan for July?! Yup, you girls are going to have to help me on this one!
