I'm definitely down for this! I had my 4th of July splurge and now it's time to get back to business! 11.25 lbs in 8 weeks! It will be a challenge but I'm ready for a better me.

I'm in. It seems like a doable goal. 10 pounds in 8 weeks.

I have decided to start and hopefully complete this challenge. I need to lose 1.2 1bs a week for 8 weeks to lose 5% of my body weight. My starting weight today is 192.8

Joined a 5% Weight loss challenge here on SP. I didn't achieve the goal but did increase my physical activity. Gonna sign up again for the next challenge. Will try to touch back and keep you posted on my progress at the start and finish.

Day 2 of Insanity and Rockin' Body and I am SO sore and sweaty. I woke up a little sore on my gluteus maximus this morning but I'm thinking because I drank the Results and Recovery Drink after my workout the night before it might have helped in reducing soreness. After my workout today though it's definitely a lot more sore, as well as my core.

Rockin' Body: Disco Groove was simple enough in that the moves are easy to learn. I was in a great mood the entire time I didn't realize until after the workout how drenched in sweat I was... I took a brief break then went into the second part of the workout combo which was Hard Core Abs; it lasts about 10 mins and the cardio focuses particularly on your abdominals. 10 mins might sound like a short time not capable of doing much but believe me once you are doing it 2 mins in it will seem like the longest 10 mins ever LOL. I was sweating just as much as I was for the 30 min Disco part but felt so great that I accomplished it afterwards.

Then came Insanity: Plyometric Cardio Circuit. Man that was rough, the warm up alone could stand as an individual workout. It was tough getting through it being the "FIRST OFFICIAL DAY" and I had to take brief 5-10 second breaks to get my breath but I stayed with it and pushed through. I found the best advice Shaun T gave is that when you feel yourself running out of breath while jogging, inhale one long deep breath then exhale it back out. It worked and gave that small boost of energy I needed to get through the routine when needed. I found that my feet started hurting a little while doing the workout so I had to shake them out as I was going through the beginning. Hopefully that won't be the case as I continue to advance. The workout overall was just what the video says: Insane, but the feeling you have when you hit the end and you are out of breath, sweating, and realize that everyone on the screen is in the same boat as you is refreshing. I definitely drank my results and recovery drink today because I know I am going to feel it in the morning. I can't wait to start seeing results. emoticon

My Cardio totals 70 mins today with 634 calories burned according to SparkPeople. Yeah! emoticon

Day 2 Complete! Day 3 tomorrow with Cardio Power & Resistence, Party Express, and Booty Time.

I started back up my fitness kick at 185, 2 weeks ago to lose my first 5% I will need to lose 10 pounds to get to 175. Let's do this!

I've had my Results and Recovery Drink and I've eaten clean today within my calorie and nutrient ranges. My last meal for today is Baked Cod with Broccoli and Cheese. Man I can't wait! LOL.
