I would go based on what is in the main book. I know on some forums people have said that Tim has said don't eat corn. I would recommend very sparingly using corn. Corn tastes very good and you may find yourself eating more than you should. It's a high starch food. In the book, he recommends limited carrots, so sometimes at work, I might eat one or two baby carrots but no more. I thought I remember in the book that HEAVY cream and limited butter is okay. I just say if it contradicts the book, don't do it.

I am still waiting for my book to arrive. In the meantime I have looked at some of the pdf posted and was wondering about the cookbook. sometimes I see carrots, or cream and butter. Is this ok when you are just starting out? I am on my first day today. I want to do it right, and was questioning the carrots, corn, etc.

I've found some great tasting recipes that use swanson flavor boost. This includes yeast extract. Does any know if yeast extract is okay. I know that it didn't have a negative effect on my weight loss this week, but I want to make sure.
