1. I read 3 articles a day so I got this one handled!
2. Definitly got my me time in by planting my flowers and since my oldest went to Grandpa and Grandma's house for the weekend, we hired a babysitter and got in couple time on Saturday by going on a date!
3. I'm going to do my 300 crunches this week since I didn't get it done last week.
4. Bonus: I have gotten up at 5:00 a.m. 3 days in a row and went and worked out on the treadmill. Yay!

1. I've read a few articles this week.
2. I haven't done me time yet. I think it's going to be on the weekend when I go shopping in the city with my friend. I enjoy shopping now that I'm smaller.
3. I'll have to work on the crunches.

I read the article on the beans as well. I don't mind beans but I never think to add them.

The best part of the challenge is that everyone who loses the 10 lbs gets a day off of their choice. Totally AWESOME!

WOW - Stacy...I need to get a job at YOUR company! Getting paid to lose weight & a day off! What incentive! I hope that you are the big winner & enjoy that paid day off!

My update thus far...

1. One Sparkarticle about the benefits of beans so I'm halfway there...

2. Haven't done me time just yet & it won't happen this evening as I will be taxi cab for my childrens' games.

3. Did 100 crunches yesterday so I'm one third of the way there...

Update:

1. I've read several articles this week. I always love the spark articles b/c they are full of lots of great info!

2. Got the me time accomplished too. I've been planting my flowers every night this week. I love planting flowers b/c it is so peacful and relaxing and nobody is outside bothering me.

3. Still working on the crunches. This will help with my new challenge that I am starting. My job is starting another fitness challenge. To enter we had to pay $10.00 and the challenge is to lose 10 lbs. in 10 weeks. We have to weigh in every week and then we can win weekly prizes. The best part is that if we lose the 10 lbs. we get a paid day off and we get our money back! How cool is that! Did I mention that my work also put it a free gym right next door to my house? It's small but it has all of the basics so if I can't manage to lose 10 lbs then I'm going to be really embarrassed!

C'mon team!

Let's get some great participation for this week's mini-wellness challenges!

Post your progress by replying to this thread once you've completed these that way we can cheer each other on & see how it went.

1. Read 2 SparkArticles - Spark is a GREAT resource for information & learning about wellness. Knowledge is power! I challenge each of you to read at least 2 SparkArticles this week which will give you an added boost of motivation!

2. ME time - Set aside an hour this week to do something just for YOU! I know that many of us are busy with families, work, school etc. & we often put ourselves last. When we don't give ourselves a little "me" time we get overstressed which for some leads to overeating lack of exercise, etc, etc, etc! Soooooo, why not watch you fav TV program, do your nails, give yourself a facial or just curl up & read a good book without interupion!

3. Crunch Time - I know this time of the year we are all *trying* are hardest with the summer fast approaching to get bikini/bathing suit ready! On with the battle of the belly bulge! I challenge you all to do at least 300 crunches over the next 7 days. You can space them out or go for it & crunch away.
