Is running up the stairs at work a fitness activity, because that seems to be all I do anymore! Darn night shift... ;)

The Wii "Walk It Out" game. There's even a team on Sparkpeople for it. You don't even reaize that you've put that much time in.

My family and I go on a hike every weekend. I love being outside and walking through the woods. During the week, I do my workouts because I know I have to, but Sunday mornings I truly enjoy exercise!

Honestly, if I'm home alone, I just go in the living room, turn on the radio and just dance my heart out! I'm not alone much though so this doesn't happen very often, but it's ALWAYS fun. And I agree with walking. I love to walk when it's nice outside too. Winter has put a really big damper on that this year... But I'm going for a walk TODAY!

I love to walk when weather allows me. Just recently started Zumba with my youngest daughter, am getting the hang of it and really enjoying it as well. If that doesn't melt some lbs. off, I don't know what will!

The activity I do most is run, when my trail is not plowed or is icy after a snow storm, I use my elliptical or treadmill. I have a Wii, so will do that also. On non- running days I will walk briskly. During the summer I like to ride my bike or go hiking for cross-training. I try to hike new sections of the Appalachian Trail each summer. I generall am training for a run most weeks of the year.

Geninthenow - Yeah, spinning is quite a calorie torcher. I've tried spin class once in a while, but I just can't get past the fact that my butt hurts so much from the seat! Zumba class is more for me :)

I LOVE spinning... I am a big volleyball fan too but lately my weight has been putting some stress on my knees during the jumping up and down required in vball. I hope to play beach volleyball this summer. But for now, spinning, Zumba, walking and the elliptical are my faves. :)

I have knee problems, so I prefer to walk, not jog or run. I like to change up my routines and get bored easily. I've been using some of the quick 10 minute workouts on the SP site. I found a couple of aps for my phone for Butt, abs, and arms. The weather's been horrible in New England this winter, so I've not been walking...I've been doing the kick boxing cardio routine instead.

After I started walking with her I went on to lose 30 pounds. I felt really good. I am in my 60's so it is something I can do and help me keep fit. I injured my back this past summer because I made the mistake of stopping the walking thinking gardening was as good. Well I learned the hard way that I way over did it. So after physical therapy last summer I have worked my way back up to walking with Leslie. I am still not 100% and probably won't be but I am much better. I also do my therapy exercises they set up for me three times a week. So for me Leslie has really encouraged me to keep on.

I am a Leslie Sansone fan as well. I love her workouts, and I don't feel like I am working out so much. But, I do see results.

Throughout the winter, I enjoy the Wii Fit Plus, along with many of you. I enjoy the rhythm boxing, and super hula games specifically. In the summer, I prefer to be outside walking, biking and playing ball. I'll be starting with a new team in the spring, and I'm excited for the opportunity to meet new people!

Like many of you, I like using the Wii in the winter. My favorite Wii game is "Just Dance" - wow, is that fun!! I enjoy strength training too.

I'm kind of obsessed with the elliptical. Back in October when I first started at the gym I lasted all of two minutes but by the end of the month I was up to an hour. Due to one thing or another around the holidays I didn't go often and now I'm back up to at least 20 minutes. Plus, they moved it to right under a ceiling fan and when I'm breathing hard it makes my throat hurt and I have to take a break.
I'm looking forward to getting under 300 as my treat to myself will be a Wii Fit!

Today, I took a walk in the snow during my lunch break, and tonight, I just finished jogging on the treadmill.
I love any active sport. My favorites are softball, soccer, and basketball. I am currently walking, but I hope to be running soon.

I have fun playing the Wii Sports Resort games with my kids. I love playing softball and shooting basketball, too. Can't wait for softball season to start up!

I like doing the eliptical as long as I have my favorite music, Dave Mathews Band and I place my Sudoku on the face of the monitor and I stayed really occupied, I can actually go for about an hour non-stop.

I love my Wii games in the winter. Except for the fact that "Wii Fit" always tells me that I'm "obese" and then makes my "me" fat!

I would love to say running, because I like to think of myself as a runner but the thruth is that while I am running I'm not always happy about it but when its done and I didn't give up or take my walk breaks to early I love it and I feel great. My fav thing right now is actually working out with my Wii I have two work out programs My fitness coach 2 (which is a very short exercise so i use it like a warm up) and Wii fit plus. I just love the Wii fit plus I have a min 30 min a day that I do and even on the days I don't really want to work out I turn it on and play the balance or arobic games and in no time that 30 min is over. I often do more then 30min but I feel as long as I reach that min every day that it is ok that I didn't do 2 hours that day.

I have found renewed interest in cycling. I've been riding my bike to work and back every weekday. It's only 4.4 miles round trip but it's gets my heartrate up. And with the gas prices climbing, I've also been riding to the grocery store and to see friends in town. My family is excited as well and this weekend started biking with me. I feel great about getting on a bicycle and want to go somewhere every day!

Please share your go to fitness activity with the team. For me, I enjoy walking, running and ice skating, but my go to activity is walking.
