The average American consumes 4500 calories at Thanksgiving dinner. Thanks to tracking and healthy choices I consumed less than 1500 calories the whole day.

I tried your method and tracked carefully this weekend. I was amazed at the little flaws I found. A great eye opener. I got through the weekend without a gain.

Saturday is tracked and done. It's not uncommon for me to gain 4-5 pounds on the weekend. So far this weekend I've gained none! Just gotta get through today.

I'm happy to see so many food trackers! It's encouraging to know I'm not alone!

I track because of my diabetes. One of the reasons I like Spark People is that it gives me carb counts and fiber. I am with you.

I always track no mater if I go over my limit. It helps me to really see how many calories and other other nutritional elements I am taking in on a given day.

Carol, I've got just the opposite problem. My job has me traveling most of the week and eating "right" is not always easy. Weekends are good for me! You are 100% correct tracking does help keep me on track. I'm in!

I've been here long enough to know that food tracking is a KEY to success. You don't know exactly what you are eating unless you track it, and you can't out exercise bad eating.

I eat great during the week...but always blow it on the weekends. That works if I am solidly at my maintenance weight, but lately the scale has been creeping up a tiny bit every week.

I'm setting a goal to track my food today and tomorrow. One weekend...that's all. I can do it. Anyone care to join me?
