Ok, I'm in on this challenge..been away awhile...and still trying to strengthen my knee after surgery in October but not going to let that stop me!


Week 1: 1/7/11 - Starting weight: 194

Week 2: 1/14/11 - 191 down 3 pounds! woohoo
Overall pounds lost: 3

Week 3: 1/21/11 - 189 down 2 and alot more to go!

Week 4: 1/28/11 - still holding at 189 bummer

Week 5: 2/4/11 - ok I didn't lose and didn't gain...but I'm still sticking with it...it's frustrating! arrrrghhhh!!!

Well, I can't believe it has been 9 weeks. The world has been spinning way too fast lately. I haven't had time to get on line much let alone post or track. Got more exercise the past week, but still not consistent enough. My eating is pretty stable, and so is my weight. I had hoped to break the 150 barrier by now, but am glad that I have not gained, and will just keep plulgging along.. Congrats to Bama girl for her ongoing weight loss!

Ok team...here's the challenge as promised.

The goal is to lose a minimum of 11 pounds in the first 11 weeks of 2011 (now through 3/18/11) This gets us to St. Patrick's Day weekend. One pound a week! That's all. You can do it!

I would like to plan a little celebration at the end...like maybe participating in the McGuire's annual 5K (walking or running - your choice). There is an entry fee, so not everyone may be able to do that. It is great fun because you can dress in St. Paddy's day garb, and McGuire's throws a big bash afterwards. The downside is lots of people do this run and it is extremely crowded. Parking is a nightmare. Let me know what your thoughts are.
