I'm glad you and the team are still here. I can't believe how awful I've been eating...

I'm sending the rest of the cookies to work with my son tomorrow and pitching the rest of the pies. We are going out for New Year's, and we have lunch plans with friends for New Year's Day, but other than that I should be done with all the holiday social gatherings.

We should do a Valentine's Day challenge. Any ideas?

I worked out the past 3 days and felt the muscles that have been lazy screaming at me for mercy. The sad part is that I didn't even workout that long or hard. Baby steps and we will all get back in the groove.

This has been my worst month yet...too many "cheat" days and the scale is showing it. I did manage to work out most days, but I have fallen off the wagon on everything else...eating right, drinking water. But it's OK cuz I know what to do to get these few extra pounds off. I have to forgive myself and move on.

That was yesterday--I think tomorrow will be another story. I am not proud of how I have been handling my eating the last 2 days. In addition, my exercise has been erratic. I am loving the holidays but I will be glad when we go back to normal.

My scale is not being too mean--staying put just above my lowest weight. I won't complain about that.

I am planning on starting my baking tomorrow so I can take things into work Thursday. That is going to be tough but I am saving my favorite cookies for Christmas Eve--my DS and I bake them every year for Santa. Hope Santa eats more of them than I do!

It's so tough right now...so many goodies. I'll be at my mother's house thie weekend...she's baking cookies. Ugh!!! She makes the best cookies in the world!

I still have a few pounds to lose for my Thanksgiving gain. I had visitors from out of town for about 3 weeks, which extended the eating! But it wasn't as bad as I thought, at least.

My goal will be to lose the rest of the Thanksgiving pounds by Christmas, and then to maintain. I was tempted by so many things while shopping yesterday, but I was able to avoid putting it all into my basket.

Now I need to get off my butt and start walking again, too.

This challenge will be to either maintain and not gain weight through the month of December, or to lose anywhere between one and five pounds. You choose what works for you. My personal goal is to lose 5 pounds. It's hard to stay focused when things are so busy, but we have to keep going as best we can. Let's not let the holidays distract us from our goals.
