Let's see how many miles we can log in December. Whether you walk, run, use an elliptical, bike, Wi, or go to step classes...any activity counts...estimate your milage as close as possible. Log your miles, then check the post before you and keep a running total. Log as often as you like, but at least weekly.

Bauer Road is over by me. I walked there once a long time ago, and it is beautiful. I thought it was called Tarkiln State Park. There is a boardwalk that goes to a secluded lagoon, and I know there's also a way to get out to Dupont Point, a long strip of sandy beach stretching into Perdido Bay. Now that's a beautiful thing! Back when I was married and had a boat, we used to pull it up on that beach.

Does anybody walk at the Prairie Pitcher State Park walk on Bauer Rd.? It is just about the right length for beginners and there is a very serene reward at the end.Also it is great for dog walkers. Debbie emoticon

Heather, you are doing great! Adding in some jogging is really good too. I am sure that you will make your goal before Christmas. My only walking is to Leslie Sansone's WATP assorted DVD's. I did do the 3 mile walk today though.

I don't know how many walkers/runners we have in the group, but here's a place to log your miles. If enough people join in, we can eventually have a mileage challenge.
