Check eBay for the seller "funreflectors". They offer many different styles of cute reflective decals for bicycles, etc. in a variety of colors. I have an old black gloss Schwinn mixte (original decals worn off) that needed some color so I got their bright orange flowers. Just right; looks great!

Dottie sounds lovely, and I like the idea of using dots to jazz her up a bit. I've used reflective dots like these (http://www.night-gear.com/reflective-1-in
ch-adhesive-vinyl-hot-dots-sheet-of-64/) on "Zippy", and I get the added benefit of more nighttime visibility. I've never thought about the effect on the paint - since these dots do sometimes peel/fall off and I don't notice for a while, they may not be causing damage. Or, I could be oblivious... ;)

We succeed when we create conditions for success - and when we can't do that, we create conditions for succeeding within constraints.

I didn't know that about Trek Headquarters in Whitewater, WI. I did know there is a factory in Waterloo, WI. They give tours on Wednesday mornings. I plan on taking my grandson to one of them.

Love the name! Sounds like you are going to love the bike too! Did you know Trek bikes is headquarted in Whitewater Wisconsin? I didn't know that until I was in Whitewater last week.

I finally broke down and got a new bike! It is a Trek Verve 4. It rides really nice, has a lower step through than my old Trek Navigator 100 and much smoother click style shifters. I was able to increase my cruising speed from 8 mph to 10-11 mph even while pulling a tot trailer with my granddaughter in it. I hate the color (silver) but it only came in one color.

I want to put red polka dots on it. Does anyone know where I can get vinyl red dots that will stick to the bike without damaging the paint? I want to get a sliver helmet and put the polka dots on that too. Ok, get ready to groan. Once I have done this I am going to name my bike.......Dottie!
