3-15-2011 160 finally made my goal weight!
I managed to gain 10 pounds in 2013. so I have to RE-lose plus make my new goal weight of 150 in 2014.
new goal! 2015, lose the 10 pounds from 2013 and lose the 5 pounds from 2014. and lose the original 10 that I wanted to lose in 2014. that means I have to lose 25 pounds now! I think I can do it!

Anyone within driving distance of Bloomington Indiana should put the Hilly Hundred on their "to do" list. It was quite hilly, but so much fun. Day 1 was 57 miles, day 2 was 49 miles (with a 39 mile option). It was very well organized, and the rest areas had wonderful refreshments. There were live bands at each rest stop, and the camaraderie made it worth it alone!

It sounds scary, but is not a race, you can take your time and enjoy the sights!

Oh, I have seen those Tennessee hills, I'd avoid them too ;)

sounds fun A! we have plenty of hills in Tennessee. i have been avoiding as many as possible since my 50 miler a few weeks ago. i do not envy you the hills. I am glad that you have a riding companion. that is a long way to go with a group that you don't know.
Enjoy and post back about it when you have finished.

My cousin and I are going to do the Hilly Hundred in Indiana in two weeks. It's two days 50mi each day. I'm really looking forward to it....minus the HILLY part. Has anyone ridden this before are they really as bad as it sounds?
