Ahh, I know that feeling!!

I started off on a ride, after only 2 miles realized that both tires on my new bike and both tires on my trailer were completely flat. Thank goodness I was near the bike shop!!

Become 160 pounds by 12/25/11? Yes..I think so.

It's time I learn. I don't go on long rides by myself, because I worry about this. I'm all over it!

Thanks ALL :)
I'm hoping the boyfriend learns more about bikes and will take care of things like this in the future. I would also like to get my own bike (as the one I've been "borrowing" from him for years is just slightly too big). Hopefully the weather will start to warm up soon too.

One of our local bicycle shops runs clinics for changing flats, cleaning & maintenance. We had to actually change a flat tire. They are so good to the customers.

I learned to change a flat by searching for you tube videos and watching them. I learned a lot by watching those. But it definitely takes some practice. Now I can do it in just few minutes.

Hi Heather and sorry about the flat. If I were you, I'd ask the guys at the bike shop to show you how to change a flat. With a little practice, you can do it in about five minutes!

Thought that the tire being a little flat was no big deal, after all, I hadn't ridden in a few months, probably a slow leak, won't kill me... 20 minutes later, my air has been slowly going so I turn around... by the time I get home I'm EXHAUSTED! It's hard to ride without good pressure! Now the bike is in the shop. Time for a tune up anyway!
